They are arrested after the Skärholmen murder

Domestic. Two young men from the Middle East are wanted in custody for aggravated protection of a criminal in connection with the murder of 39-year-old Mikael in Skärholmen.

Mikael became shot in the face on Wednesday when he spoke out against a rowdy gang at an underpass in Skärholmen.

The 39-year-old father was on his way to the swimming pool at the time with his twelve-year-old son, who witnessed the father's murder .

The prosecutor has today requested two people be detained on probable cause suspected of gross protection of a criminal in connection with the fatal shooting.

They are two young men, an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old, both of whom have an immigrant background from the Muslim world.

In connection with the prosecutor's request for the two men to be remanded in custody, he has also requested another person remanded in custody for serious weapons offenses unrelated to the murder in Skärholmen to commit and refers to a crime committed in March 2024.
