Domestic. It's going to be tough days for the police during Eurovision in Malmö. A large number of people are expected to participate in demonstrations against Israel in connection with the event.

Palestinegruppen i Malmö is one of the organizations planning demonstrations in Malmö during Eurovision .
– We are planning two large, peaceful demonstrations on May 9 and 11 in Malmö. We hope that many people will come from Denmark to participate, says Per-Olof Karlsson from the Palestinagruppen to SVT Nyheter Skåne.
He believes that “you should exclude Israel from Eurovision just like you did with Russia”.
The Palestine group expects over 20,000 participants in the demonstrations.
As an alternative to Eurovision, another music event will be held, “Falastinvision”.
Falastinvision takes place on 11 May 2024 at Plan B in Malmö, at the same time as the Eurovision Song Contest. Artists from Sweden and other European countries will be present to show their support for the Palestinians in Gaza, writes SVT.
One of these artists is JC Bigfoot from Scotland.
– I will participate in the protest in Malmö by participating both in the demonstrations and performing with my songs and show support and solidarity for the Palestinians, says JC Bigfoot.
