Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) on Tuesday. The tablet has almost the same specifications as its predecessor from 2022, with the only real change being the introduction of a new processor.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024), just like the 2022 model, receives a 10 .4″ screen with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The tablet will have a memory of 4GB of RAM. Two variants with different storage capacities will be launched on the market: one with 64GB and one with 128GB of storage space.
The tablet will have a camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels on the front and an 8 megapixel camera on the rear. The battery has the same capacity as that of the S6 Lite from 2022, namely 7040mAh. The dimensions are also 154, 3×244.5×7.0mm are identical to the previous version. There will be both a WiFi and an LTE version.
The only real difference with the previous version is the unnamed soc, only by Samsung described as a 'quadcore 2.4GHz + quadcore 2.0GHz'. The 2022 version is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G.
Samsung indicates that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) will be released on March 28 , but also says that “availability and timing vary by region.” It is unknown in which regions the tablet will be released first. The recommended retail price is also not yet known.
