Youtube profiles Carl Déman and Lucas Simonsson from the comedy group JLC started a new company this summer with the aim of managing properties.

Shortly later they bought a house in Mölndal. In connection with the renovation, the craftsmen made an astonishing find – a stash of ten kilos of gold and five kilos of platinum worth around eleven million kroner.

The questions have since piled up – where does the gold come from and who has the right to it?

Now the answer may have come to at least the first question.

According to GP, there seems to be a link back to an eco-crime spree in the 1990s where many small savers lost their money.

In the boxes where the gold and platinum bars were found there was a company stamp from Tammstorp AB. This company began over 30 years ago to offer private individuals investment opportunities in, among other things, a commodity fund, after changing owners. But instead of using invested money to generate returns, the company used it to cover its own losses.

When the company finally went bankrupt, over 60 kilos of gold disappeared.

Over 30 people have over the years been registered in the property in question, according to Carl Déman and Lucas Simonsson.
