But first, let's talk about the start of iPhone 14 sales. Because this year it is again very organized: you could mainly reserve your iPhone 14 Pro (or one of the other models) to pick up at the Apple Store or to have it delivered at home. After receiving your device, you will immediately have to install the update to iOS 16.0.1. There is an earlier version of iOS 16 on it. We regularly receive questions from people who want to pick up their new iPhone at the Apple Store. Below we discuss a few:

Can I go to the Store for single sales at the last minute?

No, that is usually not possible. On the first day, we often only work by appointment. You have the best chance of a separate iPhone 14, but the Pro models now have a longer delivery time and will not be in stock. Because Apple does not communicate anything to the outside world, it may well be that individual devices are sold to spontaneously passing customers during the day. However, keep in mind that you can also be disappointed if you have to travel far.

Do I have to be at the Store at the agreed time?

No, it doesn't have to be exact. If you have a time slot between 8:00 AM and 8:15 AM, you should join the queue around this time slot. That does not have to be exactly at 8:00 am, but it is also possible at 8:13 pm. And if you are late due to unexpected setbacks, you will still receive your device at 8:30 am.

What if I am late for my timeslot?

You can also pick up your ordered iPhone at a later time. Because you have already paid for the device, Apple will not just give the iPhone to someone else. Apple has mainly chosen the time slots to regulate the influx of people. So make sure you are on time. Preferably not too early, but also not too late.

Can I still cancel my order? ?

Which can. In the Apple Store app, you can tap the Cancel this item link to cancel the purchase. You will then receive your money back after a few days.

Can someone else pick up my order?

That's possible. You can assign an extra person in the app. With the QR code and valid identification, this person can pick up the iPhone. You must arrange this in advance.

Can I pay for extra items?

If you have reserved an iPhone and you come to pick it up, you can also bring some extra accessories such as a case. A shopping list with seven iPhones, four iPads and a MacBook will not work, because Apple wants to process the orders as quickly as possible.

Can I still make a reservation?

Where can I still get the iPhone 14 (Pro)?

You're not too late! You can still order your iPhone at any time from the web shops, telecom providers and of course also from Apple itself. Stock will vary per store.
