Tech Talks at Apple

The fact that Apple did not organize Tech Talks for a long time has nothing to do with the pandemic: Apple last organized them in 2016. In previous years they took place on an irregular basis: in 2007 the first iPhone Tech Talks started and then new ones follow every now and then. More of 100 live online sessions are now scheduled, starting next week. It gives developers a unique opportunity to talk directly to Apple, which is normally quite impossible. This time the sessions are completely virtual, so you don't have to travel, which is beneficial for Dutch and Belgian developers. Previously, Apple organized them in different cities and then Brussels and The Hague were often skipped.

There are live sessions to learn how to apply the latest technologies in your apps, learn best practices and get answers to your questions. This is done in groups, on topics such as machine learning, SwiftUI and the like. The capacity is limited, so that the participants receive sufficient attention. If you are unable to participate in the English sessions, you can also try in Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Spanish.

1-on-1 sessions

If you have specific questions, you can you can also talk 1-on-1 with Apple experts. You can then fire all your questions at them for 30 minutes about design, technology, programming, the review process of apps and App Store Connect. That way, you can get help improving your app and design, troubleshooting, and navigating the guidelines and tools. You can go to several regions.

New sessions will be posted every two weeks from November 1, November 15, and November 29 for you to sign up for. Browse the range and register here. You must be a registered developer for it.
