Dealers were apparently faster than AMD and have unveiled the Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled. The GPU flagship for gamers now has all-in-one water cooling and faster clock rates for the GPU and memory. The total board power (TBP) rises to 330 watts.
In December, AMD presented the fastest graphics card of the current generation of navigation systems with the Radeon RX 6900 XT (test) . This normal RX 6900 XT is equipped with a more conventional cooler with three fans. At 300 watt TBP, the game clock is 2,015 MHz, the boost clock is 2,250 MHz and the memory speed is 16 Gbit/s.
Liquid Cooled also means more rhythm
The potentially higher cooling capacity of the new water-cooled version of the RX 6900 XT is accompanied by an increase in the TBP to 330 watts. This leaves room for higher clock rates, which are said to be 2,250 MHz game clock, 2,435 MHz boost clock and 18 Gbit/s for memory. This increases the memory bandwidth to 576 GB/s. The parameters mentioned are around 8 to 13 percent higher than with the RX 6900 XT. Benchmarks of a water-cooled RX 6900 XT from AMD had already appeared in Asia, which is around 5 percent faster than the air-cooled model there.

The Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Cooled is offered in complete systems, which the listings at various dealers around the world reveal. It remains to be seen whether the graphics card from AMD will also be offered to end customers for individual purchase.
It also remains unclear what surcharge the special equipment will cost. These days, however, recommended retail prices for graphics cards have little meaning anyway, as the global scarcity leads to horrific retail prices.
