Domestic. Crown Princess Victoria will begin special officer training in the autumn, the Swedish Armed Forces announces.

Within the framework of her preparations as future head of state, the Crown Princess has for many years completed various forms of military training to provide basic knowledge of the tasks and organization of the defense .
During the fall of 2024, she will begin special officer training to provide a deeper understanding of tactics, military science and military strategy.
Special officer training (SOFU), which the Crown Princess is now starting at the National Defense College and in The Armed Forces, contains both theoretical and practical training elements.
The training can be carried out as commissioned training at the Swedish Defense Academy and with training/practice within the Armed Forces and is aimed at people who already have an academic degree.
