Sony has released new headphones and multiple speakers in a new audio series. The ULT Power Sound line emphasizes bass tones and loud music. All models include a button that makes it possible to switch between sound modes.

The four new products fall into a new series that Sony calls ULT Power Sound. The series is mainly aimed at music listeners, specifically fans of loud music. Sony says the speakers are “designed to make you feel like you're in the front row of the arena.” This is done, among other things, by emphasizing bass tones. All models, both the speakers and the headphones, are wireless and contain their own 'ULT button'. This makes it possible to switch sound modes. With one mode the bass tones become deeper at a low frequency, with the other the bass becomes more powerful. All models also have RGB lighting that can pulsate with the music.

Two of the models are portable speakers. These are Field 1 and Field 7, which mainly differ in size. The smaller Field 1 is a handy model with a battery life of 12 hours and a waterproof rating of IP67. users can use the model in both portrait and landscape orientation. The Field 7 is much larger and seems more intended for taking to parties. That model also has noise detection and can adjust the music to ambient noise. Furthermore, the Field 7 also has a connection for a microphone or musical instrument or for controls.

In addition, there is the Tower 10, which is not easy to handle. It is a music tower with the same noise detection as the Field 7, but the Tower 10 also has sound that is sent 360 degrees through the speakers. It is also possible to connect multiple devices to that model.

The wireless headphones, the Wear, have the same Integrated Processor V1 from the WH-1000x series. It also has the same kind of noise reduction. There is a new driver in the headphones that has been specifically made for this new model and which also emphasizes bass tones.

All models will be available 'from April', says Sony, but the company does not mention a date. The company is also vague about the price. The Wear headphones cost 'approximately' 200 euros. Sony also only mentions prices for the Fields that are 'approximately' 140 and 450 euros, just like the Tower 10, which costs 'approximately' 1200 euros.
