Microsoft has released version 7.4.2 of PowerShell. PowerShell is an object-oriented shell and scripting language for task automation, consisting of a command-line shell, a scripting language, and a configuration management framework. The software has been around since 2006 and has been a standard part of Windows since version 2.0. Since the end of 2016 it has been open source and also available for Linux and macOS. PowerShell 7.4 is built with .NET version 8.0. Below you can find the changelog for this release.
