PlayStation Plus Collection: Sony is scrapping free PS4 games for the PlayStation 5

From May 9th, Sony will be offering the PlayStation Plus Collection, which includes 20 of the most popular and successful PlayStation 4 games such as God of War and Uncharted 4, for free on the PlayStation 5 (test) brings, no longer offer. Those players who have not yet downloaded said PS4 games should do so as soon as possible.

Until May 9th, PlayStation 5 owners with a PlayStation Plus membership can download the PlayStation 4 games bundled in the PlayStation Plus Collection.

After the download, access to the games is still possible until the end of your Plus subscription, as Sony explains on the PlayStation Blog.

If you haven't already redeemed the titles in this collection, you have until May 9th, which will allow you to access these games after that date as long as you remain a member.

The following 19 titles – Persona 5 has been removed – are available via the PlayStation Plus Collection and are upgraded via “Game Boost” with shorter loading times and higher or more stable frame rates.

The Monthly Games download for January

PlayStation Plus members have until Monday 6th February to download January's free monthly games and add Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76 and Axiom Verge 2 to their games library.

Evil Dead: The Game, OlliOlliWorld, Destiny 2: Beyond Light, and Mafia: Definitive Edition will follow on February 7th.
