Zeekr is preparing to land in Europe. In the course of 2023, the Chinese brand owned of the Geely Group will begin & agrave; to bring its electric cars to some countries of the Old Continent. Meanwhile, the manufacturer is expanding the range of its battery-powered cars. In fact, it is; the new Zeekr 009 , an electric minivan, was presented. LOTS OF SPACE ON BOARD 
This new car is based on the SEA platform (Sustainable Experience Architecture) that Geely has created specifically for electric cars. Model that is characterized by a massive front where & egrave; there is a large closed grille illuminated by 154 LEDs (called Spring of Light). Despite the important dimensions, the builder & egrave; managed to obtain a Cx of 0.27 to reduce the pi & ugrave; consumption and increase autonomy. The rims are 20 inches and to facilitate entry on board, there are sliding doors on both sides. On the back, however, we find LED lights joined by a light bar.
The design of this car & egrave; was made by Zeekr's design center in G & ouml; teborg, Sweden. The new Zeekr 009 & egrave; 5,209 mm long , 2,024 mm wide and 1,867 mm high. The pass is; of 3,205 mm. The cockpit is very wide and & egrave; able to accommodate up to 6 passengers with a 2 + 2 + 2 layout. On request & egrave; an executive version with four seats is available with a 2 + 2 layout.
The Zeekr 009 & egrave; rich in technology. In fact, we find a 10.25-inch screen for the instrumentation and a 15.4-inch display for the infotainment system which also features OTA updates . Speaking of safety, this model offers 30 advanced driver assistance systems thanks to a platform developed by Mobileye . As for the powertrain, Zeekr 009 has a double electric motor capable of delivering a total of 400 kW with 686 Nm of torque. It takes 4.5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h.
Buyers will be able to choose between a 116 kWh or 140 kWh battery. The autonomy, according to the Chinese CLTC cycle, reaches, respectively, up to 702 km and up to 822 km . Special feature, this car adopts the Qilin batteries produced by CATL with third generation cell-to-pack technology. The Qilin battery & egrave; present, however, only in the 140 kWh variant.
Prices start at 499,000 yuan (about 69,600 euros) for the basic version and from 588,000 yuan (about 82,000 euros) for the one with a 140 kWh battery. Deliveries are scheduled for January 2023.
