According to new rumours, the iPhone 14 will be officially presented by Apple on September 7th and will go on sale shortly thereafter. Mark Gurman claims to have learned this from Bloomberg from well-informed sources, as always. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said shortly afterwards that an early market launch could help Apple.

Because Apple had looked positively at the last quarterly figures for the third quarter of this year, which will end at the end of September. If, as speculated, the iPhone 14 will be presented on September 7th and actually be available 7 to 14 days later, Apple could still count many sales in the third quarter, which will strengthen them. Currently, September 16th is the rumored release date, which is also the most obvious given that Apple usually launches sales on a Friday the week after the announcement. In addition, fears of a more widespread recession are still lingering, so an earlier launch could boost sales before economic developments get in the way of sales, Ming-Chi Kuo said.

A16 SoC, always-on display and new camera< /h2>

According to the latest rumors, Apple is planning an iPhone 14 (6.1 inch) and iPhone 14 Max (6.7 inch) as well as an iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max of the same size. The Pro smartphones are to have a new always-on this year display, on the back the Pro models should also use a new 48-megapixel sensor for the primary camera. While the Pro models will also switch to the new A16 SoC, the non-Pro variants will be equipped with the A15 Bionic SoC from last year.

New Macs, iPads and Apple's Watches

Besides the new iPhone-14 models are expected to include several new Macs, a new entry-level iPad, a new iPad Pro with Apple Silicon M2 and three new Apple Watches in the fall. A lot of information about the new, cheapest 10th generation iPad only leaked out at the beginning of August, which now also reveals a return to the angular design of this model.
