The latest Update Stack Package version 1022.616.7011.0 for Windows 11 aims to improve the user experience with the upcoming monthly updates and annual feature updates. The update will first be distributed to insiders in the Dev Channel, which is primarily aimed at developers and particularly experienced users.

Updates should be less obtrusive

With the latest update stack package for Windows 11, Microsoft wants, among other things, to “provide improvements to the update function before the system receives a monthly or feature update”, and thus contribute to ” that the PC has the highest probability of successfully installing new updates”. According to Microsoft, the “least disruptive method” is also chosen for this if possible.

We can provide update feature improvements before the PC receives a monthly or feature update.

The update stack package will help ensure your system has the highest likelihood of installing new updates successfully and with the best and least disruptive method.

Insiders in the Dev Channel receive the update automatically, but they can also search for the new update stack package, which behaves like a cumulative update during installation, via the Start menu and Settings → Windows Update, as the Deskmodder website first reported.
