Team Group has two new DDR5 memory kits with higher speeds of 6,000 and 6,600 MT/s and a CAS latency of 30 and 34 clock cycles, respectively, from the already well-known T-Force Delta RGB series Computex 2022 presented and the portfolio of DDR5 memory expanded to include further options for gamers and overclockers.

Optionally more clock or better latencies

The new memory kits from the T-Force Delta RAM series, first introduced in March 2016 – at that time still with DDR4 – which was expanded in July 2017 to include an RGB variant with LEDs in the heat spreader, primarily address gamers and overclocking enthusiasts. For this, Team Group offers a high-speed variant and a low-latency variant with tight memory latencies.

The two new DDR5 memory kits have a module height of 46 mm and should offer the following specifications using Intel XMP 3.0:

Team Group T-Force Delta RGB

  • 2 × 16 gigabyte DDR5-6600
    • Timings: CL34-40-40-105
    • Memory Latency: ~10.0 ns
    • JEDEC: PC5-52800U
    • Voltage: 1.4V
    • on-die ECC
  • 2 × 16 gigabyte DDR5-6000
    • Timings: CL30-40-40-96
    • Memory latency: ~ 10.3 ns
    • JEDEC: PC5-48000U
    • Voltage: 1.4V
    • on-the ECC

Team Group speaks of a new power management chip and carefully selected high-quality ICs, but which memory components are used is not known.

The RGB lighting on the new heatspreader of the modules, which, according to the Taiwanese manufacturer, combines a new type of aluminum alloy and a special cooling silicone, is said to have a particularly high light output thanks to its numerous ARGB LEDs Reach beam angles of up to 120 degrees and be compatible with both Asus Aura Sync and Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0 as well as Mystic Light Sync from MSI.

On sale worldwide from July

The two new memory kits are scheduled to join the T-Force Delta RGB series in the course of July this year and will be available in black and white at the time will be available worldwide.

Team Group hasn't mentioned prices yet, but it shouldn't be a particularly cheap venture in this case either: For 32 GB DDR5-6400 CL40 from the same series, around 460 euros are currently being called up.
