As of May 17, Deutsche Telekom is reorganizing its prepaid offer and is giving all tariffs more data volume in the LTE and 5G network. The new mobile communications standard is now included in the MagentaMobil Prepaid M, after only the MagentaMobil Prepaid Max has so far offered 5G. The prepaid terms are four weeks.

First data volume for the smallest tariff

Deutsche Telekom's new prepaid portfolio is also graded according to MagentaMobil prepaid S, M, L, XL and Max and comes with terms of 28 days. The prices remain almost unchanged, but for the smallest MagentaMobil Prepaid S the network operator raises the price from 2.95 to 4.95 euros and changes the included services. So far, this tariff has not included any data, only a telephony and SMS flat rate in the Telekom mobile network. Instead, data must be booked via prepaid data passes from EUR 3.49 for 500 MB. Instead, the new MagentaMobil Prepaid S offers 500 MB in the LTE network, again a telephony and SMS flat rate in the Telekom mobile network and also 50 minutes for telephoning in all other German networks including landline.

More data volume and 5G access

There is also more data volume for MagentaMobil prepaid M, L and XL, which will be available from May 17 with 3 GB instead of 2 GB (M), 5 GB instead of 3 GB (L) and 7 GB instead of 5 GB (XL) for 9 .95 euros (M), 14.95 euros (L) and 24.95 euros (XL) are offered. The other included services will also be upgraded, so that the telephony and SMS flat rate will be included in the Telekom mobile network and now also in all other German networks. With the exception of the MagentaMobil Prepaid S, all tariffs now also offer access to the 5G network of Deutsche Telekom.

At the top of the prepaid portfolio is the MagentaMobil Prepaid Max for 99 .95 euros with a four-week term. This tariff does not offer any changes and all included services such as telephony, SMS and LTE/5G are unlimited.

Prepaid annual tariff with 36 GB for 99.95 euros

However, the prepaid gets an adjustment -Annual plan for which you have to pay a one-time fee of 99.95 euros for a period of 12 months. So far, the tariff has provided 2 GB per month in the LTE and 5G network, but from May 17 it will be 3 GB and thus 36 GB for the year. This tariff also comes with telephony and SMS flat rates in the Telekom mobile network and also offers 200 minutes per month for all other German networks including the fixed network. Existing customers will also benefit from the adjustment and will be automatically switched to the extended data volume.

For all tariffs with the exception of MagentaMobil Prepaid S and Max, booking a landline connection can use the MagentaEINS advantage at Deutsche Telekom, which results in 1 GB additional data volume per month.
