The development of the BMW 7 Series 2023 is coming to life and the camouflage of the car is slowly starting to detach from the bodywork while the car shows up, from time to time, on the road in the company of the test drivers.

Of course, the prototypes of the new generation of the 7 Series flagship are still quite covered but show a new prominent grille , with air intakes that appear more & ugrave; sporty and with an optical group that seems to be doubled.

Moving to the side, here is wheel arch slightly more; pronounced , a front fender charging port indicating that it is a prototype plug-in hybrid, handles flush with the body and a slightly sharper roof; elegant and descending.

At the rear, the rear lights are subtle with the bumper allowing for some edgy accents. The prototypes do not show a visible exhaust but the car exiting the factory should have a four-pipe exhaust system.

For the interior of the new 7 Series we expect a technological cockpit embellished by the presence of a curved display similar to that found in the iX, based on the iDrive 8 platform. Presumably we will have a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment system .

Should reply “present” also a new steering wheel featuring illuminated stripes, to help better communicate the status of the car's level 3 semi-autonomous driving system to the driver.

The model will be; offered with an assortment of engines including an all-electric powertrain, for the new i7, but also electrified six-cylinder petrol engines and the V8. Unfortunately, the V12 will come abandoned.
