Economics. The crypto platform Firi brings in 60 million in a new investment round led by Schibsted Ventures, the company writes in a press release.

The trading platform, which is Scandinavia's largest and helps customers buy and sell cryptocurrencies, is now investing in international expansion.
In 2021, Firi has increased from 12,000 to over 125,000 verified customers who have traded cryptocurrencies for almost NOK 6 billion.
Firi has also launched a “savings product” where customers can create weekly or monthly withdrawals from their bank account which are converted into cryptocurrencies.

According to a market survey conducted by the company, about 440,000 Norwegians have invested in cryptocurrencies. As part of the growth ambition, the company has recently hired more and more are coming in. In 2022, new, simple and sustainable products will also be launched.
