Samuelsson was a lawyer for a clan in Angered but was expelled from the Bar Association this summer after leaking secret information to the clan. The decision on exclusion was made by the Supreme Court.
Before Gunilla von Platen appeared on SVT, she demanded that no questions about Edip Samuelsson be asked in the program. Something that SVT agreed to.
“From time to time, requests come from our guests and in cases where the request concerns circumstances that are outside the guest's area of responsibility, it happens that we respect this wish”, writes program & shy; leader Anna Hedenmo in an email to Journalisten.
According to Hedenmo, SVT “never” hesitates to ask difficult questions in Min Sanning about the guest's own activities, but when it comes to darkening the guest's family ties, it is a completely different matter.
