While the Windows 11 Insider is being prepared for the arrival of the apps for Android in the Beta Channel, experienced users and developers will receive a little product update in the Dev Channel. Apart from a few fixed problems, Build 22483 offers only a few new features. Loyal insiders will receive a new name tag for the anniversary.

Little is happening in the Dev Channel at the moment

While the Amazon Appstore Preview and the Windows subsystem for Android will initially be reserved for Windows 11 insiders in the Beta Channel and the rollout will initially only take place in the USA, participants in the Dev Channel, which is primarily aimed at experienced users and developers, can now use name tags on the 7th birthday of the Insider Program. As expected, the new preview version of Windows 11 for the year 2022, Build 22483, is once again a pure product maintenance, because Microsoft has not promised any new product features.

Bug fixes and optimizations

In addition to the new birthday badge and a small adjustment in the start menu, the official releases are listed Notes the mandatory bug fixes and optimizations.

This time the “Search”, “Settings” and “Other” areas receive a small product update and bug fixes, after the Insider Preview Build 22478 primarily brought the new emoji in the fluent design of Windows 11 with it.
