Logitech is painting four well-known peripheral products in League of Legends colors – but this time in blue and gold and not in a K/DA look. The second collection dedicated to the MOBA developed by Riot Games includes the G Pro Wireless mouse (test), the G Pro keyboard, the G Pro X headset and the G840 XL mouse pad.

known products, new colors

Nothing has changed in the technical specifications of the input and output devices. The recommended retail prices also remain the same: mouse, keyboard and headset each cost around 130 euros according to the RRP; the XL mouse pad costs around 50 euros. Of course, it should be noted that the conventional variants of all four products in the free trade have already fallen in price – in some cases significantly -, so the League of Legends variants come with a surcharge.

The fact that Logitech relies on the G Pro Wireless for its mouse is a bit surprising: on the one hand, it is actually a shooter mouse, on the other hand, the wireless lightweight received a successor in the form of the G Pro X Superlight (test) at the end of 2020. At that time it was initially said that the older version – which is a complete symmetry ahead of the X Superlight thanks to two additional buttons on the right flank – will at least remain in stores for the time being. The new color variant now indicates that Logitech does not intend to take the mouse off the market anytime soon.

The second League of Legends -Collection

Already in March of this year Logitech announced the beginning of a cooperation with Riot Games; initially as part of a peripheral collection dedicated to the K-Pop group K/DA, which is made up of League of Legends characters. This already included the G Pro keyboard and the G480 mouse pad – both with a different look – but still consisted of the G502 Hero (test) and G305 mice, the G733 headset and the G333 in-ear headphones and will be next of the new collection.
