Graphics cards: RX 6600 XT and RTX 3070 Ti more expensive than ever

With a few exceptions, the current graphics cards of the AMD Radeon RX 6000 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 generation have become more expensive in online retail compared to the beginning of September. Models launched later, such as the RX 6600 XT and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, have reached new highs in the price overview.

RX 6600 XT costs at least 570 euros

While the Radeon RX 6600 XT was available for less than 500 euros in mid-August shortly after the market launch, it is currently almost 570 euros for the cheapest model with delivery status “in stock” in stores . The RRP of around 380 euros advertised by AMD is further away than ever before. After all, the number of offers available has increased from 10 to 14.

Almost 1,100 euros for an RTX 3070 Ti

The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti went on sale in June with an MSRP of 619 euros, but at the end of June it already cost just under 950 euros with 12 models available. The availability and the associated prices improved in July, but in August things went in the other direction again. Today, September 20, the cheapest of the 13 GeForce RTX 3070 Ti marked as directly available in the price comparison costs 1,099 euros more than ever before. The faster models RTX 3080, RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3090 have also become more expensive again.

AMDs 6800 models hardly available

AMDs 6800s are particularly scarce and therefore extremely expensive at the moment. Only three models of the Radeon RX 6800 are currently available, the cheapest at almost 1,450 euros costs almost as much as in the very expensive May and even more than a Radeon RX 6800 XT, which is available from 1,300 euros. However, with only 5 models available, stocks are also very limited. The Radeon RX 6900 XT looks much better: 17 models from 1,400 euros are available here.

The price went down for only two models down

Only the Radeon RX 6700 XT and the GeForce RTX 3070 have seen lower prices compared to the beginning of September.
