Domestic. In total, Sweden has now evacuated 544 people from Afghanistan, Foreign Minister Ann Linde (S) states on Twitter. These include Afghans with asylum in Sweden who have been on holiday in the home country they fled from.

Of these people, 154 were evacuated on Tuesday, according to Ann Linde.
“More people will be evacuated by Sweden”, she writes.
The evacuation began in weekend. On board the first planes were local employees at the Swedish embassy in Kabul and their families, together with Swedish citizens and Afghans with residence permits in Sweden. Kabul (which is currently operating from Stockholm) and the Swedish Armed Forces. Sweden also cooperates with a number of other countries.
– The Swedish Migration Agency's staff now work day and night to receive the local employees and their families at the places where flights from Kabul land, and then at our arrival center at Arlanda. It is a job well done by everyone involved from the Swedish Migration Agency and other actors who assist at the arrival points, says Mikael Ribbenvik, Director General of the Swedish Migration Agency.
“Representatives from the municipalities who are now ready to receive the evacuated local employees “and their families for residence in Sweden meet immediately after the Swedish Migration Board has completed the processing in connection with arrival. The arrival municipality also offers crisis support insofar as there is a need for it”, writes the Swedish Migration Board.
