Australia is currently undergoing a brutal so-called lockdown, and politicians' behavior has been questioned in Sky News.

Youtube (owned by Google) has therefore decided to shut down Sky News Australia's account – which for a week is not allowed to upload any new videos on the video platform.

According to Sky News, the censorship is due to the posting of videos containing “debates about whether masks are effective and about lockdowns are motivated when considering their negative health consequences “.

Among other things, the channel has had commentators who questioned the reasonableness of having pliers out in the fresh air.

Youtube states that the material on Sky News Australia's channel “could cause real damage” to the broadcaster's 1.9 million subscribers, writes the Daily Mail.
