As the current quarterly report from AMD shows, the manufacturer has already started to deliver the professional graphics card Aldebaran alias Instinct MI200 based on the second generation CDNA to the market. The professional accelerator inherits the Instinct MI100 and has not yet been officially presented.

The code name Aldebaran has been used in various entries since the beginning of the year, which indicates initial support the software and drivers for the new dual GPUs suggest. The Instinct MI200 will be based on a multi-chip module (MCM) and will initially enter the enterprise area with up to 2 × 112 compute units and a total of 14,336 FP32-ALUs. According to AMD, the new professional accelerators are already being shipped.
