Domestic. National Police Chief Anders Thornberg is undergoing treatment for cancer but plans to be back in service after the summer, the police write on their website.

– The offensive police work continues unchanged during the summer. It feels safe to work in an organization with such committed and competent employees, says Anders Thornberg.
While Thornberg is gone, Johan Olsson, head of Noa, is acting National Police Chief.
– Treatment goes well. I look forward to being back soon and working as usual again, says Anders Thornberg.
