GR Yaris Rally Cup, the new single-make championship starts from Rome

The new GR Yaris Rally Cup single-brand championship, wanted and organized by Toyota, starts from Rome this weekend . From today 23 July and until Sunday 25 July, this series will debut. on the streets of the Rally di Roma Capitale, valid as the third round of the European Rally Championship (ERC) and fifth act of the Italian Rally Championship (CIR). For the way of this single-brand store & egrave; an important stage was therefore chosen.

The cars will parade in front of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, the Vittoriano and then arrive in the Circo Massimo area where, at 20:00, they will pick up & agrave; the first special stage, novelty; absolute 2021, with a completely urban route around the Baths of Caracalla. On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July the race will move on. instead in the Lazio hinterland, based in Fiuggi, where the Service Park and Rally HQ will be set up. The special stages will characterize a path that will unite; tradition and innovation recognized by the rally world as one of the most difficult and technical issues of the whole continental calendar. There will be 12 special stages to tackle, for a total of 187,370 kilometers of competitive distance, 27.10% of the entire track, which measures 595.07 kilometers. The arrival will be in Fiuggi, on the afternoon of Sunday 25 July from 18:00.
