The reason is that the Swedish flag contains a cross, a Christian symbol. The imam in Rosengård thinks this is inappropriate.

Basem Mahmoud also goes to attack Jews, whom he calls “the offspring of pigs and apes.” He calls for the murder of Jews by quoting the so-called hadiths, which are part of the Muslim faith.
“Doomsday will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. The Jews will hide behind stones and trees, but the stones and the trees will say, “Oh, Muslim, there is a Jew behind me. Come and kill him,” reads one of the hadiths quoted by Mahmoud.
