According to the study, Pfizer is still 93 percent effective against severe covid 19, but not effective enough to prevent spread.
In March, an Israeli study showed that the Pfizer vaccine had 99 percent effectiveness in preventing covid 19 symptoms and a 91.2 percent probability of completely preventing an infection.
When the delta variant was examined, the latter figure had dropped to 64 percent, according to Haaretz.
