According to the study, Pfizer is still 93 percent effective against severe covid 19, but not effective enough to prevent spread.

In March, an Israeli study showed that the Pfizer vaccine had 99 percent effectiveness in preventing covid 19 symptoms and a 91.2 percent probability of completely preventing an infection.

When the delta variant was examined, the latter figure had dropped to 64 percent, according to Haaretz.

At the same time writes Aftonbladet about a study on the epsilon variant of the coronavirus, which indicates that the virus variant “rounds” the antibodies that the vaccine produces.

Something that is also found in the study is that the epsilon variant shares certain mutations with the delta variant is spreading rapidly in Europe.
