Logitech has had two types of keyboard covers for a few years now: the Combo Touch and the Folio Touch. For the former, a new version is now available, especially for the iPad Air 2020. This model is a good alternative to Apple's more expensive Magic Keyboard for iPad.

Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Air 2020

Logitech previously released the Combo Touch for the standard iPad and iPad Air 2019 and later also for the iPad Pro 2020. Since this spring, there is also the Logitech Combo Touch for the iPad Pro 2021, but the iPad Air 2020 was still empty-handed. That will change in July, when Logitech will release the updated version. The Combo Touch case connects via the Smart Connector and has a backlit keyboard with built-in trackpad. The advantage of the Combo Touch is that the keyboard can also be removed, making it easier to use the iPad in tablet mode.

The iPad Air 2020 already had the Folio Touch cover. This has almost the same functions, but with a slightly smaller trackpad. In addition, the keyboard of the Folio Touch cannot be removed. On both models you will find an adjustable stand to put the iPad upright. The keyboard also features dedicated function keys for the iPad, something that Apple's own Magic Keyboard lacks.

Logitech says the Combo Touch keyboard cover will be available from July. Whether the cover is immediately for sale in the Netherlands is not yet entirely clear. The price in America is $199.99, which translates to €199.99 with us. In our price comparison, you can see the prices of the different models that are already available. For the iPad Pro 20201, Logitech also comes with a new Sand color, which looks more like a light gray variant. . This color will not be coming to the iPad Air 2020 for now.
