– We are in a difficult political situation, said Stefan Lövfen at a press conference after the vote in the Riksdag.
– When the left is united with the extreme right, a completely new situation arises in Swedish politics .
He stated that there are now two alternatives: new rounds of presidential elections or by-elections.
The government has one week to decide how to proceed.
< However, Löfven expressed skepticism about the possibility of forming a new government via the Speaker.
