Domestic. Almost eight out of ten Swedes want the military to be deployed to fight serious crime. It shows a study from the SOM Institute.

“Of the respondents, 78 percent believe that it is an important task for the Armed Forces to assist the police in efforts against serious crime”, writes researchers at the University of Gothenburg in a debate article in Dagens Nyheter.
This is the first time that the question has been asked in the SOM Institute's survey, which is about trust in the Armed Forces.
