Sonos Roam solves battery problem

The other software update that Sonos is releasing is for the Roam, the portable speaker that you can also take with you outdoors. This speaker has been on the market since last month but turned out to have a battery problem. If you use Google Assistant for voice control, it turns out that the battery lasts for some people shorter than the promised 10 hours. With the now released software update that should be resolved and you can continue to give commands to Google for the full 10 hours. We also reviewed the Sonos Roam: the portable speaker gets an 8.5 from us. New with this speaker is Sound Swap, a function to keep music playing when you get home.

You can update both Sonos devices via the Sonos mobile app.
