The Italian car market is continuing to experience a moment of great difficulty following the crisis caused by the outbreak of the pandemic. The data for April 2021 and the previous months speak very clearly. ELECTRIC CARS: TOP 10 OF APRIL 2021

For the Italian model, yet another confirmation of the good appreciation it is receiving from customers. In second place we find the Smart Fortwo well detached with 601 registrations. Third step of the podium for the electric Renault Twingo (528 unit & agrave;). The ranking of the electric highlights the good fifth place of the new Volkswagen ID.4 (Here our test) whose deliveries have just started. Battery-powered SUV that & egrave; already in front of ID.3 which ranks seventh.
< p> Also interesting is the fact that in the Top 10 there is no Tesla Model 3 after it had been the most electric in March sold in Italy. A result that, in reality, no longer surprises; from time to time as the deliveries of the models of the American manufacturer always tend to go a bit in fits and starts. Overall, 4,851 electric cars were registered in April 2021.
HYBRID CARS: TOP 10 IN APRIL 2021 
Let's move on to HEV hybridsremembering that cars equipped with mild hybrid technology are also included in the ranking. The podium is; all Italian. In first place and with a wide margin, we find the Fiat Panda with 7,629 registrations. The Lancia Ypsilon (4,564) and the Fiat 500 (4,489) follow. Fourth position for the Toyota Yaris which in 2021 won the Car of the Year award. Overall, 42,010 HEV hybrids were registered in April 2021.
Coming to Plug-ins, in the first two places we find two Jeep models and this is; the Compass (817) and the Renegade (576). Third step of the podium for the Volvo XC40 (532). The Toyota RAV4 also did well in eighth place with 218 registrations. Ninth and tenth position for two Mercedes: the A-Class and the GLA. In total, 6,673 Plug-in cars were registered in April 2021.
