As part of its first Open Ears Forum, which will take place as an online event on May 18 from 2 p.m. due to the COVID-19 pandemic, OnePlus will also present its own theme store for OxygenOS . The community has long wanted their own themes, wallpapers and icons.
Conception on the Open Ears Forum
The manufacturer is planning to introduce its own theme store as part of the next “major update” of its OxygenOS operating system. OnePlus will have the switch to the new Android 12 in mind, which is currently already available as Developer Preview 3 for Pixel smartphones and is expected as a beta later this month. OxygenOS 12 should then appear shortly after Android 12.
Registration to the forum already possible
Users who would like to register for the Open Ears Forum can do so by May 12th using the registration form.
On the agenda for the Open Ears Forum should also be the first concepts for the theme store, which is to be designed together with selected users. In addition, a discussion on the OnePlus Watch should be on the program. Selected participants will also receive OnePlus giveaways such as t-shirts, backpacks and wristbands.
