DFB President Reinhard Grindel calls after the publication of the Garcia report new behaviour guidelines in the world football Association FIFA. “First of all, we need clearer rules in the guidelines, the candidates for a world Cup and all FIFA members, which will decide in future on world Cup assignment, knowledge of binding, what is allowed in the framework of the application process and what is not,” said the head of the German football Association (DFB) in a statement.
Grindel is a member of the FIFA Council and wants to raise a further consequence, at the next Meeting in Calcutta: “Secondly, the vote of the Technical Commission that evaluated the Cup applications must get a much greater importance in the award decision.” It had to be ensured in the future, “that only on the basis of objective, comprehensible criteria appropriate country hosting the world Cup,” says the Hamburg native.

Is horrified to Grindel about the influence of the Franz-Beckenbauer-Intimus and puppeteer Fedor Radmann: “It is very depressing what is read, especially about the role of the former world Cup-OK, a member of Fedor Radmann in the Garcia Report.” This was once a world Cup-OK-member. Grindel: “I don’t want to hide the fact that we have little reason, with a raised finger pointing to March through the football world.”
The composition of the Technical Commission must be made by the Council, “according to clear rules and should not be used in the back rooms of Zurich decided,” demanded the DFB-Boss.
