Panasonic announces new uhd tv’s

Panasonic at the IFA trade show new uhd-tv-series announced. The X940 offers with an 85″panel, the largest screen. Also the tv is equipped with a quadcore processor and hevc-codecondersteuning.

The X940 has, according to Panasonic about a 2000Hz back light scanning panel. There is also made use of local dimming. A quad-core Pro 5 processor is responsible for image processing and the upscaling of hd and sd images to uhd resolution. The device has 4k60p hdmi connections and there is also a display port 1.2 a connection is present. How much the X940 will cost is not yet known.

Panasonic also has the AX900 series will be announced. This uhd tv uses lcd’s. Using local dimming, the image quality can be improved. Panasonics new uhd tv will be available with 55″ and 65″ beelddiagonalen. The electronics manufacturer has a sensor in the tv has been built in which the amount of light in the room measures. Then the image settings to be dynamically adjusted. Panasonic also has the AX902 uhd tv equipped with a quad-core Pro5 processor for the image processing.

The third uhd-series is the AX630. These uhd tvs have a narrow bezel and are equipped with dualcore image processors. The AX630 models will continue this month and are available with screen sizes of 55″, 48″ and 40″.
