The Chinese smartphonemaker Xiaomi has a controller for games presented. The Xiaomi Bluetooth Game Controller will on Thursday go on sale, but the regular price for the product, the manufacturer has not yet published.

As a marketing stunt gives Xiaomi the controller to the first 300 interested parties for an amount of around 10 cents. The game controller is meant to play games on an Android phone or tablet, preferably via a socket on the tv.

The controller has two joysticks, four shoulder buttons, x-y-a-b buttons, a d-pad and Android buttons: Back, Menu, and a Mi-button, which presumably serves as a Home button. The design is reminiscent of the controllers of consoles. The controller works on AA batteries.

The controller has Xiaomi again a product category to its range. The Chinese manufacturer was previously only smartphones, but now has a tablet, router, set-top box and tv.
