Ontwikkelstudio Epic Games has announced that a new Unreal Tournament is in the pipeline. The game will be by a small group of developers from Epic, along with every fan and a developer who wants to help, the whole ‘open’ to be developed.
Epic Games made Thursday announced that Unreal Tournament from the first line of code written until the release of an open project. That means that fans can sign up on the forum of the Epic and be able to discuss many facets of the game. It also allows developers with an Unreal Engine 4 subscribers via GitHub to contribute to the project. The Us studio has set itself the goal to remain faithful to the type of game that Unreal Tournament has always been. It will therefore be a competitive first-person shooter.
The new Unreal Tournament game will be free for everyone, and that would mean Epic really free: there is no question of a free2play concept.
