An American has “accidentally” published a video in which he is the successor of the HTC One. The unit on the video, that HTC, on 25 march presents, it has two cameras on the back and a new camera interface.

The device in the video looks like the renders that were previously online published; the unit is slightly rounder than the current HTC One and has visible a slightly bigger screen. The phone is slightly bigger than the previous One and has a metal with another tone. Also the second camera lens on the back is visible, but the American says he doesn’t know where he is.

In the software is a new version of BlinkFeed, a version that matches that on the Desire 816. Also other elements in the software, including the sdk version and the apps in the main menu correspond to that of the new Desire phone. Because this is not public info, this confirms the authenticity of the video.

The video shows a new interface for the camera, which, like the Samsung features a variety of modes, including ‘selfie’, ‘dual capture’ images of the camera on the front and back in one image to convert, and ‘Zoe’, a last year presented function to be something more than three seconds of video, and twenty pictures at once to make.

It is unclear how the American comes to the unit. He claims that HTC is him the unit sent, and that it’s going to be a “ontwikkelaarsversie’. He is, however, not a developer, but makes ‘prank videos’. The video itself looks a little unfamiliar: he ‘forgets’ several times the imei number with his hand to hide, so HTC could find out who the shown device.

He says that he the video on February 19, has made; he would ‘accidentally’ put online, and then others mirrors have to be placed. HTC presents the phone ‘All New One’ would be called and now the codenamed M8) has, at a private event in London and New York on march 25.
