Huawei presents first phone with two active 3g sim cards

Huawei has made its first smartphone presented in which two sim cards that both have access to 3g networks. Until recently that was not possible. The smartphone has a 5.5″screen and an octacore processor.

The phone may not, however, with two Dutch sim cards, deal; the one simslot is suitable for a network technology only in China, reports Engadget. It is unclear whether there in the coming months, and also a version that makes possible to Dutch networks two sim cards with data access to use.

Dualsim is for some people an important function, because they are so two numbers are reachable without two phones to have. There are few dualsim-phones in the Dutch market and the models that are available are usually cheaper.

The Huawei Honor 3x runs on a octacore-soc MediaTek, the MT6592, with eight Cortex A7 processor cores at 1.7 GHz and a Mali 450 gpu. It is one of the first devices with this soc. The screen is an ips lcd with a diagonal of 5.5″ and a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The battery has a capacity of 3000mAh. The phone will cost around 200 euro.

In addition, presented Huawei with the Honor 3c, a cheaper version with less powerful MediaTek MT6582-soc, 5″screen, 2300mAh battery. The cheaper ones should be around 120 euro’s.
