Synology is still to come this month with probably ten new nas systems, and there will still be completed. n at the beginning of november release. The storage systems would provide better performance and more memory. Synology also introduces a new entry-level nas.
Real Solutions Haarlem report of ten new models of the Taiwenese company. It would go to the DS114, DS214se, DS214, DS214+, DS214play, DS414, RS814, RS2414+, RS2414RP+ and RX1214/RX1214P. The company from Haarlem has the data sheets of the products online.
The DS114 is the successor of the DS112 and now has twice as much memory, i.e. 512 MB. In addition, this nas support for usb 3.0 and is a cpu with a floating point unit present. The nas is running in the black. The DS214 is a slightly more powerful nas which is designed for higher speeds in file transfers. This nas was actually announced at the end of August, but can only be released in October due to a shortage of components.
The DS214 are a number of versions available: the DS214se, where ” se ” for special edition, is the new entry-level nas with two bays, similar in price to the DS112j and the performance of the DS213j. The DS214+ is a lot more powerful, with 1 GB of internal memory and speeds up to 200 MB/sec. The DS214play is, after all, based on the DS214, but has two times more ram, and includes a soc of Intel Evansport platform.
The DS414 has two lan ports and is the successor to the DS413, which, incidentally, is one lan port. In this nas reduced the price and read speeds achieved of up to 200MBps speed. The RS814 is based on the DS214+, but provides cpu support for floating point operations. Compared to the RS812, its predecessor, the internal memory doubled.
