Sharp ships first samples igzo-laptop screens with uhd-resolution

Sharp has started delivering the first samples of igzo screens for notebooks with the uhd resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The on igzo displays have a screen diagonal of 15.6 inch.

After the resolution of laptop screens for years, is stuck, this year, thanks to the igzo technology, the first-13,3″- and 15.5″models with qhd+resolution of 3200×1800 pixels appeared. According to Digitimes goes on Sharp, with its igzo displays yet a step further and have the manufacturer with success or 15.6″panels with uhd resolution of 3840×2160 pixels for notebooks manufactured. The first samples would be to a number of customers in a 15.6″ igzo panels are sent.

The new igzo panels are of course intended for high-end laptops, but it is not known what laptopfabrikanten they are going to use.
