Smartphones, tablets and e-readers are allowed from next year, probably just stay on during the taxi lwa n, takeoff and landing of an airplane in the US. The American luchtvaartdienst FAA is working on more flexible rules around use of electronics in aircraft.

So, passengers are starting next year are likely to watch videos, read texts and podcasts or listen to music on airplanes in the US. Things that have a wireless connection require, such as calling, texting or surfing the internet remain probably prohibited during taxiing, take-off and landing, so say various members of an advisory board of the FAA on the new rules against the newspaper The New York Times. The opinion should be at the end of this month. If the U.s. service rules, other countries will probably follow soon.

Now, passengers must for take off and landing every electronic device off, because the rules that prescribe. Those rules are set, because electronic devices wireless signals would broadcast that equipment in the cockpit would interfere. However, there is no evidence for this contention. After takeoff, may electronic devices be used. Another argument for the rules is that the electronics in a hard landing from the hands that could shoot and so other passengers injured.

There are already rumors about more flexible rules for electronics during takeoff and landing. A year and a half ago already went the first stories about smoother lines. Not everyone adheres to the rules: especially during the taxiing use a lot of passengers on their smartphone or tablet.
