The servers of Nokia Messaging pushten e-mail includes Gmail and Hotmail automatically. Mail for Exchange works with a push system, and remains so to work.
Nokia confirms that it is not a temporary issue, in an e-mail to a reader of Tweakers.net. “As I mentioned in my previous mail indicated, this is not a temporary situation. It is so that Gmail, Hotmail, POP/IMAP, etc are not automatically pushed, but this was an additional service from Nokia via the Nokia Messaging servers.
