When a user is searching for is additional information is shown: this is to see what people ‘influence’ on the subject of where to search. This influence is through Klout is calculated and the ‘Klout score’.

According to Klout, Microsoft has made an investment in the company, though it is not known how large this is. There is a deal for several years closed, in which Klout social data will provide for the Bing search engine. Vice versa is there on the Klout service information from Microsoft’s search engine.

Users can log in to Klout and the service a score to calculate how influential someone is. This is determined by looking at the messages on different social-networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, which looked at the amount of people who respond or otherwise interact with concerns.

It is not the first time that Microsoft keeps itself busy with social data to its search engine. Previously integrated the company all the information of Twitter and Facebook. This is also in the sidebar.
