A part of the digital exams in secondary education is provisionally deleted, after exams of 200 pupils are invalid declared due to faulty software. When the examinations are continued, is unclear.

The board for Examinations has been reported in a letter to secondary schools. In the past year, digital exams according to the College ‘restless’ expired. For that reason, the exams that are on a fixed time, temporarily not using the computer decreased, writes the College.

This year there were 20 schools problems, making exams of 200 candidates is entirely or partially invalid, this had to be explained. The board finds that number to be large. In addition, led the bugs to a loss of concentration, for example due to exams abruptly came to an end.

The software was not stable enough. The Flash applications with which the examinations were conducted, leading to malfunctions and the examensoftware has not worked well together with ict-networks of schools. According to the College turned out in some schools, ‘the central processor unit in the network of the school to be filled’, but what this means is, is unclear. The College was not reachable for comment.
