Valve gives on may 8, map editor for Portal 2 free

On may 8, gives Valve the Perpetual Testing Initiative, a free to download package that allows fans own maps for Portal 2, the puzzle game that is the last year put on the market. The maps can use Steam to be shared.

The Perpetual Testing Initiative is a map-editor for Valves Portal 2. It is according to the developer a “simple puzzelmaker’ that fans still self levels, can make full of mind-bending puzzles. The editor is from 8 may to download through Steam and is available for Windows and Mac OS X version of the game. The editor is not available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Valve announced the editor in October.

The maps from the editor directly into the Steam Workshop and are therefore by other players to download. The Steam Workshop itself is since February available and is intended for the up – and download of by fan made mods and maps. Valve kicked off the introduction of the Workshop with a studio-made mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
