Earlier this week went into not only possible screenshots of Doom 4, there was also the rumor that the shooter was not further developed. According to a spokesperson for publisher Bethesda, the latter is however not true.
Through spokesman Pete Hines let publisher Bethesda to Stick to know that Doom 4 still in development. “Doom 4 is not cancelled. When we are ready to talk about it and show it to me, we will let everyone know,” was the short comment of Hines. The vice-president of public relations going in on a rumor that earlier this week surfaced on the 4chan forum, together with a collection of images obtained would be of developer id Software. The images should be on the website of Thao Le said to have been, with id Software serving as senior environmental artist. The images are already of the website is gone, but still here.
It is the second time within a half year that Hines rumors about the discontinued production of Doom 4 must deny. In October did that rumor even though the round. When would the consideration have been that of Bethesda, owner of id Software, is not satisfied with the receipt and sale of id’s shooter Rage. Hines did the rumors at the time as being ‘complete nonsense.’ Doom 4 has been around since 2008 in development.
