Lego may go back ten years Star Wars games

Lucasfilm and Lego have a deal closed, so that the Danish toy maker again in ten years, games should make it around the Star Wars movies. The two companies locks in 1999 for the first time an agreement.

Lucasfilm has announced that the existing deal with Lego has renewed. The deal gives Lego the right to also be in the next ten years of games to continue to make the Lego toys of the Star Wars movies to re-enact. The first deal between the two companies dates back to 1999. That led in 2005 to the first Lego Star Wars game. Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars was released in march 2011, the latest game in the series.

According to Lucasfilm, part of the group of director George Lucas, there are now more than 30 million games in the Lego Star Wars series sold. Jill Wilfert, vice president of the Danish toy manufacturer, is called the Star Wars games in the same declaration a core Lego franchise’.
